WHY WYOMING AGAIN IN 2012

The summer of 2011 was so fantastic working in Grand Teton National Park with incredible views of the Tetons including the Grand and Mount Moran, Jackson Lake, and wildlife, cool temperatures and great co-workers. But we still had some activities we wanted to enjoy, and the mountains just drew us back. We have yet to take a kayak trip on Jackson Lake or go horseback riding. We always enjoy a scenic float trip, a cruise on Jackson Lake, and several hikes, some of which we have taken multiple times already but we never tire of seeing the gorgeous scenery the Tetons have to offer. And, yes, we will enjoy more than one happy hour at the Snake River Brewing Company in Jackson.
Dick and Sheri, our friends from Rock Springs, WY will not be returning to work this summer in Grand Teton National Park but we hope to see them during our time out west. Ron and Karen, our store managers at the Jenny Lake Store in 2010, are returning.  We look forward to seeing both couples as often as our work schedules will allow.  We also enjoy working with folks from many different backgrounds and nationalities, sharing our lives and learning to understand theirs.
We did purchase a different motorhome in the fall of 2011.  Why would we do that?  Just like purchasing a different home, choosing features from a "must have" list, we decided that our first RV was our "see if we like the lifestyle" unit.  Paul searched web sites for several months to find a used RV that had the features we felt we needed to continue to live in the RV more than 6 months a year. No, it still does not have the dishwasher Ann misses most from the home kitchen.  But the ride is much smoother and the driving easier on the nerves.  The new motorhome is the same length but it has more storage space for the clothes we need for both cold and hot weather we encounter on our summer trips.  And it has a fully painted body to allow us to more easily clean off all the Florida bugs that we seem to find wherever we go.

The neon palm tree sits on our dash and is our signature to tell other RVers that we are from Florida. The idea came from seeing several motorhomes at Sun-N-Fun, our Sarasota RV destination, with similar decorations. Who knew that there are nearly 100 bar signs available to decorate your space, whether it be a man cave, den, kitchen, or in our case, all of the above. Look for another neon sign once we get to Wyoming.
